The Industry Advisory Council at the National Academy of Creative Arts is made up of experienced professionals from across the creative and education sectors. Their collective knowledge helps ensure our programmes reflect emerging trends, evolving technologies and the practical skills employers are looking for.

Working closely with the Academy's leadership team, the Council provides strategic guidance on curriculum development and programme quality, helping us deliver creative education that is both professionally relevant and academically robust.

David Willett
David Willett

Higher Ed & Digital Learning

David Willett is an experienced education executive and non-executive director with two decades in higher education, workforce development, and digital learning. He has led major initiatives at The Open University and across UK and international institutions, bringing expertise in governance, commercial strategy, and scalable, industry-aligned education models.

Dr. Kaitlyn M. Enright
Dr. Kaitlyn M. Enright

Research Governance & Learning

Dr. Kaitlyn Enright is a medical-scientific researcher and academic leader with expertise in research governance, curriculum development, and evidence-based learning. With over 15 years’ experience across clinical, educational, and consulting settings, she supports institutions in strengthening academic quality, innovation, and integrity through interdisciplinary, research-driven approaches.

Dr Nicola Thomas

Curriculum Design & Quality

Dr. Nicola Thomas is a higher-education specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in academic leadership, curriculum design, quality assurance, and learning-design innovation. A former Associate Professor and Programme Leader, she brings deep expertise in employability, creative-industry education, and governance across undergraduate and postgraduate provision.

Dr. John Sena
Dr. John Sena

Academic Governance & Strategy

Dr. John Sena is a long-serving English professor at Ohio State University and former Assistant Provost. With an extensive publication record, multiple university-wide teaching awards, and leadership roles with the SAT, AP Exam, and College Board, he brings distinguished expertise in assessment, academic standards, and scholarly writing.
