Build a solid foundation in graphic design and start creating work you're proud to share. Designed for enthusiasts with no prior qualifications required, this beginner-friendly course focuses on the core principles and tools that drive effective visual communication.

Across five practical assignments you'll develop skills step by step: concept development and visual research; typography and hierarchy; grid-based layout for print and screen; colour theory and image treatment; and preparing artwork for delivery. You'll work with industry-standard software to produce real-world pieces such as posters, social media graphics and simple brand assets, learning essential production know-how from CMYK and bleed to exporting web-ready files. Throughout, you'll build confidence presenting your ideas and refining them through feedback.

Learning is supported by expert-created resources - video tutorials, written guides and project briefs - and tutors who provide regular guidance and detailed feedback on every assignment. By the end, you'll have a small portfolio of finished projects and the practical skills to take on personal or entry-level design work.
