Across fifteen hands-on assignments you'll move from solid foundations to leadership-level practice: audience insight and segmentation, value propositions and messaging, multi-channel planning (SEO, PPC, paid social, content, email/CRM and partnerships), budgeting and forecasting, and building test-and-learn roadmaps. You’ll design experiments, run A/B and multivariate tests, implement automation and lifecycle journeys, and apply conversion-rate optimisation across landing pages and funnels. You'll deepen analytics capability - event tracking, dashboards, cohort and funnel analysis, incrementality and attribution - so you can diagnose performance and prioritise the next best action.

Professional rigour is embedded throughout: data privacy and consent, accessibility, brand governance, stakeholder communication, brief writing and vendor management. You'll produce strategic documents (channel plans, media mixes, experimentation backlogs), operational assets (dashboards, playbooks, templates) and polished presentations that win buy-in. By the end, you'll have a portfolio of case-study work and a repeatable, metrics-driven process for leading integrated campaigns.

Work placement - Graduates of this course are eligible for a one month work placement with a digital marketing company. All placements are made in the greater London, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh areas.
