At the academy, we are acutely aware of the busy lifestyles and crazy schedules people grapple with on a day-to-day basis. We want nothing more than to make learning accessible to burgeoning writers and creatives alike. So, we have done just that.

Study your way


Having scrutinised the most challenging aspects of entering education and indeed providing high-quality learning, we have curated three different study modes that work for a range of needs. We offer Home Study, Classroom-Based, and Live Online classes. Each mode caters to different needs ensuring that no matter where you are or how you prefer to study, we have a path that aligns with your aspirations.




Home Study:


This option is entirely flexible and is best suited to those with some self-discipline or if you have a changeable or unpredictable schedule. 

Perhaps you simply want to experiment with Creative Writing and see if it’s for you? Home Study means you can study at your own pace in your own time. You have the freedom to immerse yourself in the world of writing whenever and wherever you want. All of our courses are accredited so you can rest assured that we maintain the highest standards of course content and there is always expert guidance from our tutors. You will basically have everything you need to develop your talents outside of the typical classroom setting.

Classroom-Based:


Some people respond well to the more hands-on physical presence that is found in a classroom. Our classroom courses are designed to provide an immersive learning experience.

The structure of a classroom plus the meeting of like-minded people is something many students find beneficial to their learning experience. The shared workspace generates a collaborative atmosphere which can be inspirational in a creative environment as well as contributing to feedback and critiquing of written work. All of which is again, expertly guided by industry professionals.

Live Online:


Our Live Online classes are the happy medium between the Home Study and Classroom-Based options. Students can enjoy the classroom experience without the need to compromise on their course choices just because the class is too far away or inaccessible. This is an ideal option for those who appreciate the communal aspect of learning but perhaps live in a remote area or cannot commit to traveling.

A career in Creative Writing


There are any number of career paths a writer can take and achieving a Creative Writing accreditation will provide evidence of your talent as well as improving your skills and experience.
